Hai!
I’m the Little Novice. I’ve began blogging here at WordPress since January of 2015 and with all the posts I’ve been doing, I haven’t really done an introductory post (even though I have an ‘About’ page). But this post is gonna be a bit more elaborate than my about page.
So! Why “Little Novice”? A friend of mine told me once that calling myself a ‘novice’ doesn’t seem to be a nice thing to label myself with. But, in all honesty, I kinda like it. There’s plenty of things in this world that I’m a novice at, and we all start of as beginners at one point. So I figured, as I go on with life, learning new things and experiencing happenings, seeing myself as a newbie means allowing myself to make mistakes along the way, and relieve myself from any pressure and just focusing on doing what I love, and doing it with my very best.
(Kudos too to my best friend who gave me this nickname and continues to inspires me all the time! You’re forever the best, baka!) 🙂
Why did I begin blogging?
You could kind of tell from my blog title my main reason: “The Little Novice & Happiness”. Blogging to me is sharing to you what I love, what I’m passionate about and it gives me a sense of motivation to keep chasing after ‘happiness’. This blog is sort of like my letter to you, whoever you are reading this. It’s my letter to you about the things I get up to, my favourite objects and things and hobbies to do, to share to you what makes me happy.
Happiness was a concept that I’ve misunderstood and lost for a little while, and it was a struggle for a bit to make that decision of seeing the bright side instead of always facing the same miserable corner. So by doing this blog, it gives me opportunities to practice finding happiness in every day even when every day isn’t always as easy as walks in the park or sunny. The little things, positive ones and maybe even not so happy ones, should be sharing because I intend to inspire you out there to always smile and aim to make today as happy as you can. So hopefully as I continue to share to you my little “Novice Moments”, it’ll make you smile or inspire or motivate you in some way.

Beautiful, I love how you view the word ‘Novice’ It sort of gives a new perspective to who we are. It kind of reminds me that even though some of us are good at different things then others, we will always be a novice at something, so their is no reason for us to think we are better than anyone. Just my take on it. I love your perspective! Can’t wait to read more from you! 🙂
